Create a document lesson

Adding a document lesson to your course allows you to add a PDF and Microsoft Office Word and Excel documents (DOC, DOCx, XLS and XLSx files) hosted on Edjet LMS.

Learners can view the document without downloading it and without installing any additional software or plugins.

This lesson type is suitable:

  • if you already have the document,
  • to provide a multi-page long reads or data sheet,
  • deliver document templates, showcase, real documents,
  • for desktop and tablet users (if you have mobile users, decide a different lesson format or alternative content)

Steps to add document lesson:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click school Courses.
  3. Find the course and click edit icon edit in the row.
  4. In the toolbar click add New lesson.
  5. Click insert_drive_file Document.
  6. Choose one or more documents from Media Library, or you can upload files from your device.
  7. Enter the Lesson name.
  8. You can add the Optional content of the lesson using rich text editor.
  9. You can add downloads.
  10. In the toolbar click save Save.

Extending the lesson content

Lesson can be extended by adding an optional content:
