Create a rich text lesson

Adding a rich text lesson to your course allows you to create formatted text, tables, images, media and more using a visual editor.

This lesson type is suitable:

• when you want to add mixed content page or article, combine text and images etc.
• to be used for intro or summary of section, topic body,
• to be used for self-guided learning, step-by-step guides, supplemental materials, materials that need to be seen written,
• to provide mobile-optimized content (low internet speed and data amount requirements).

Steps to add rich text lesson:

1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
2. In the menu click school Courses.
3. Find the course and click edit icon edit in the row.
4. In the toolbar click add New lesson.
5. Click description Rich text.
6. Enter the Lesson name.
7. Click tab Content.
8. Create the rich text content using a visual editor.
9. In the toolbar click save Save.

Extending the lesson content

Lesson can be extended by adding an optional content:

• Tests – to add one or more tests, click tab Tests and then click Add.
  Important: This is an obsolete way of adding a test into the course. It is recommend to create a test lesson instead.
• Assignment – to add an assignment click tab Assignments and then click Add.
