Create an assignment

Assignment activity allow or require learner to submit work. Learner can submit the work by uploading file matching your requirements.

To create assignment and set the restrictions:

1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
2. In the menu click school Courses.
3. Find the course and click edit icon edit in the row.
4. Find the rich text lesson or add a new one.
5. Click tab Assignment.
6. Next to the input click add icon add.
   If the assignment is already added, click the clear icon close first.
7. In the toolbar click add New item.
8. Enter Name and optional Description.
9. Next to the Folder input click add icon add.
   If the folder is already added, click the clear icon close first.
10. Select the folder (you can create a new one), where the uploads will be stored, using checkbox.
11. In the toolbar click check_circle Add.
12. You can change Upload size limit to restrict maximum size of uploaded file.
13. Select one or more Allowed file types to restrict format of uploaded files.
    Listed file types are matching the global filter of file types allowed to be uploaded to Media Library. If you need to upload different file types, contact your Edjet LMS administrator.
14. You can set Validity dates to restrict, when the assignment can be submitted..
15. In the toolbar click save Save.

Close the popup window or click close Cancel.

Adding the assignment to the course

Steps to insert the assignment to your course:

1. Find the course and click edit icon edit in the row.
2. Find the rich text lesson or add a new one.
3. Click tab Assignment.
4. Next to the input click add icon add.
   If the assignment is already added, click the clear icon close first.
5. Select the assignment in the list using checkbox.
6. In the toolbar click check_circle Add.
7. In the toolbar click save Save.
