Deactivate a lesson

You can hide any lesson in your course, without removing user permissions.

When you deactivate a lesson:

• The is completely hidden from the course content.
• The lesson can be edited from the Edjet LMS admin as usual, just cannot be previewed.
• Deactivated lesson is excluded from the course progress calculations.

This kind of change made to the course being actively visited by the learners can cause some issues. Please consider making these changes to a copy of the course while the course is in design and development phase.

Steps to deactivate the course lesson:

1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
2. In the menu click school Courses.
3. Find the course and click edit icon edit in the row.
4. In the course outline panel click on lesson name.
5. In the toolbar click visibility_off Deactivate.

To re-activate the lesson click visibility Activate.

You can deactivate and activate a lesson as often as you want.
