Edit or delete user accounts

You can edit or delete user accounts using Edjet LMS admin. To edit or delete an account you must be either owner or has edit permission.

Edit a user

To edit the user's account:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click people Users.
  3. Find the user and click edit icon edit in the row.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. In the toolbar click save Save.

Delete a user account

Important: Before deleting the user account, please consider deactivating the user instead.

When you delete an account:

  • User cannot sign in to Edjet LMS.
  • User data can be either deleted, or anonymized.
    Delete operation comply with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) “Right to erasure” requirements.
  • Deleted accounts are not counted as active user account against plan or license.
  • Important: User deletion can't be undone.
    Only way to get user back to the Edjet LMS, is to re-create his account as a new, blank account.

To delete single user account:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click people Users.
  3. Find the user and click delete icon delete in the row.
  4. Click OK.

You can also delete the user from the User page.

Delete many users at once

Important: Before you begin, check what happens when you delete an account above.

To delete many user accounts at once:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click people Users.
  3. Find all the users you want to delete and select them using checkbox.
  4. In the toolbar click delete icon delete in the row.
  5. Click OK.
