Publish a test

A test need to be published to the learners before they can start it on the Learner portal.

There are two ways how to publish your test:

• Publish a test together with the course (recommended).
• Publish a standalone test using permissions tool.

Publish a test with a course

If the test is embedded or attached to the course, just publish the course.

The test will be available in the course content and on page Tests in the user portal where user can start it, if all course learning conditions are met.

Publish a standalone test

In this case, the test will be visible on page Tests in the user portal where user can start it.

To assign the test to specific people:

1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
2. In the menu click school Courses and then Tests.
3. Find the test in listing and select it using checkbox.
4. In the toolbar click vpn_key Permissions.
5. To add user groups, click add Add under the User groups section.
6. To add individual learners, click add Add under the Users section.
7. Use checkbox to select one or more groups or learners and then click check_circle Add.
   You can add both groups and individual learners at the same time.
8. In the toolbar click save Save and close.

You can also access Permissions settings from the Test page.

Notes:

• You can add both groups and individual users at the same time.
• You can also add administrators (for testing purposes for example).
