Edit or delete instructor or admin account

The edit permission is required.

Edit an account

To edit the account:

  1. From Settings menu click Administrators.
  2. Find the account and click Edit.
  3. Make your changes.
  4. Click Save.

Delete an account

Important: Before deleting the instructor or admin account, please consider deactivating the account instead.

When you delete an account:

  • User cannot sign in to Edjet LMS.
  • All user's items will loose owner which can lead to missing items or other unexpected behavior
    Note: Delete operation comply with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) “Right to erasure” requirements.
  • Important: Account deletion can't be undone.
    Note: Only way to get user account back to the Edjet LMS, is to re-create his account as a new, blank account.

To delete single administrator account:

  1. From Settings menu click Administrators.
  2. Find the account and click Delete.
  3. To confirm deletion click OK in the dialog.

You can also delete the account from the Administrator page.

Delete many accounts at once

Before you begin, check above what happens when you delete an account.

To delete many accounts at once:

  1. From Settings menu click Administrators.
  2. Find all the accounts you want to delete and select them using checkbox.
  3. Click Delete in the toolbar.
  4. To confirm deletion click OK in the dialog.
