Image editor

You can do basic image editing using edit image actions right from the application:

  • Crop
  • Resize
  • Flip
  • Rotate

You can do multiple edits at once.

Crop images

To crop an image:

  1. Click Media Library in main menu.
  2. Find the image, hover the mouse and click Edit icon.
  3. Click Crop.
  4. Select the area to remain after crop.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. You can revert the action if you click Revert and then click OK in the confirmation prompt.
  7. Click Save.
  8. If you want to to overwrite the image, click Save.
    Important: If you overwrite image used in the course, lesson, test or other editor content, the image can be distorted.
  9. If you want to keep the original file and save the image as a new file, change the name and click Save.

Resize images

To resize an image:

  1. Click Media Library in main menu.
  2. Find the image, hover the mouse and click Edit icon.
  3. Click Resize.
  4. Resize the image using handlers or enter a numbers.
    Note: By default, the proportions of the image are preserved. This option can be turned off.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. You can revert the action if you click Revert and then click OK in the confirmation prompt.
  7. Click Save.
  8. If you want to to overwrite the image, click Save.
    Important: If you overwrite image used in the course, lesson, test or other editor content, the image can be distorted.
  9. If you want to keep the original file and save the image as a new file, change the name and click Save.

Flip images

To flip an image:

  1. Click Media Library in main menu.
  2. Find the image, hover the mouse and click Edit icon.
  3. Click Flip.
  4. Click Horizontal or Vertical.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. You can revert the action if you click Revert and then click OK in the confirmation prompt.
  7. Click Save.
  8. If you want to to overwrite the image, click Save.
    Important: If you overwrite image used in the course, lesson, test or other editor content, the image can be distorted.
  9. If you want to keep the original file and save the image as a new file, change the name and click Save.

Rotate images

To rotate an image:

  1. Click Media Library in main menu.
  2. Find the image, hover the mouse and click Edit icon.
  3. Click Rotate.
  4. Click 90°, 180° or 270°.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. You can revert the action if you click Revert and then click OK in the confirmation prompt.
  7. Click Save.
  8. If you want to to overwrite the image, click Save.

  9. If you want to keep the original file and save the image as a new file, change the name and click Save.
