Edit or delete learner accounts

You can edit or delete learner accounts using Edjet LMS admin. To edit or delete an account you must be either owner or has edit permission.

Edit a learner

To edit the learner's account:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click people Learners.
  3. Find the learner and click edit icon edit in the row.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. In the toolbar click save Save.

Delete a learner account

Important: Before deleting the learner account, please consider deactivating the learner instead.

When you delete an account:

  • Learner cannot sign in to Edjet LMS.
  • Learner's course progress, test attempts, assignments, or other are either deleted, or anonymized (record has no learner information remaining).
    Delete operation comply with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) “Right to erasure” requirements.
  • Deleted account is not counted against license restriction anymore.
  • Important: Learner deletion can't be undone.
    Only way to get learner back to the Edjet LMS, is to re-create his account as a new, blank account.

To delete single learner account:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click people Learners.
  3. Find the learner and click delete icon delete in the row.
  4. Click OK.

You can also delete the learner from the Learner page.

Delete many learners at once

Important: Before you begin, check what happens when you delete an account above.

To delete many learner accounts at once:

  1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
  2. In the menu click people Learners.
  3. Find all the learners you want to delete and select them using checkbox.
  4. In the toolbar click delete icon delete in the row.
  5. Click OK.
