Create instructor and administrator accounts

As an Admin you can create accounts for other administrators or instructors.

You can add as many instructors and administrators as you need. Administrator accounts are always free of charge. If you reach a limit of your license or plan, please contact Edjet Support to raise the limit for you.

To add a new administrator to Edjet LMS:

1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
2. In the menu click settings Settings and then click account_box Administrators.
3. In the toolbar click add New item.
4. Enter the First name and Last name.
5. Click Account tab.
6. To create Administrator, choose Admin in Role option.
7. To create Instructor, choose Instructor in Role option.
8. Enter the User name or click icon next to input to generate the user name from surname.
9. In the toolbar click save Save.

You can also:

• Enter the Password and Re-type password or click icon next to input to generate the password.
  You can save a password to give it to your users, or you can give them just an username and ask them to reset the password. In this case make sure they have an email address present.
• Enter the E-mail if you want the student to receive email notifications from the LMS.
• You can enter Description or any other user data, set the default localization or add profile image.

Change in storing of the addresses of the administrators

The original method of storing administrator addresses is obsolete and will be removed by 31.1.2022.

How to proceed if you store addresses with administrators and wish to keep them for the future:

1. Sign in to Edjet LMS admin.
2. In the menu click settings Settings and then click account_box Administrators.
3. Find the administrator and click on Edit.
4. Click on the Address (Outdated) tab.
5. Copy the data to the Address tab.
6. In the toolbar click save Save.

Repeat the procedure for each administrator.

If you have multiple addresses stored with one administrator, you can now store only one.
