SMTP connector

Allows you to send bulk emails using your own SMTP server. All messages are then sent out from your email.
Note: The system only supports one custom email address.

SMTP server requirements

SMTP must conform to the specification:

  1. The server must be configured to support SSL/TLS authentication using a username and password.
  2. The server must be accessible via the Internet or your LAN/internal network.

External SMTP configuration information

To configure an external SMTP server on the LMS side, please provide the following:

SMTP host SMTP server host name (eg.: smtp.google.com)
SMTP port SMTP server port number (eg.: 465)
SMTP username Username for authentication
SMTP password Password for authentication
E-mail address Email address from which messages will be sent (From).
Note: The SMTP server should be set up correctly to allow sending from this address and to reduce the possibility of emails being marked as spam.
